The Portfolio Company
Starlight Development is Elevation Capital’s design-driven real estate platform, created to build extraordinary, lifestyle-led communities rather than conventional residential projects. Born from the founder’s conviction that real estate should inspire, endure, and shape how people live and connect, Starlight operates at the intersection of visionary design, rapid execution, and long-term legacy thinking.
The platform focuses on landmark developments such as coastal luxury enclaves, next-generation modular villages, and remote off-grid retreats that integrate sustainability, experience, and architectural excellence. Each project is approached with startup intensity and creative ambition, backed by institutional capital and a leadership team that values speed, accountability, and bold decision-making. Starlight is early in its scale-up phase, offering senior leaders the opportunity to help define the standards, culture, and global footprint of a next-generation development platform.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The VP, Construction & Facilities Management is responsible for overseeing the design, planning, execution, and long-term stewardship of the family office’s real estate and physical assets. This role bridges strategy and execution - ensuring capital projects are delivered on time and on budget while maintaining the quality, safety, and performance of the portfolio over decades, not quarters.
You will align with our principal’s vision for amazing spaces that combine unmatched luxury and tranquility with resiliency, security and future-readiness. You will drive aggressive timetables and complex requirements, while building a team that can deploy to multiple sites to execute on the vision.
The role requires proven experience delivering high-quality luxury construction in remote or access-limited locations, often requiring self-sufficient infrastructure solutions, complex logistics, and close coordination of materials, labor, and services. Current and future projects include family compound/estates, corporate retreat spaces and commercial hospitality.
This is not a land development or a corporate real estate portfolio role. It is an execution role that requires strong design, construction management, vendor control, and operations experience across multiple UHNW residential properties. Candidates whose primary background is REIT operations, real estate investing, or large-scale land development without direct luxury construction and facilities leadership experience may not find this role aligned.
You will work closely with UHNWI stakeholders, aligning development execution with their elevated expectations and lifestyle-driven investment goals. You’ll thrive in a high-urgency, design-build environment where expectations exceed industry norms and deadlines often seem impossible - because speed is the mandate, not the exception.
You’ll move fluidly between strategy and execution - translating vision into concrete scope, sequencing activity across locations, enforcing timelines and budgets, and holding vendors and internal stakeholders accountable to world-class standards. Sites range from off-grid builds with helicopter-only access, to technology-enabled modular homes, to complex luxury developments across multiple countries requiring local labor and regulatory navigation.
WHO YOU ARE
- Visionary - You share the principal’s vision for ambitious, amazing projects and can translate that vision into reality.
- Execution-Focused Operator – You own outcomes and take accountability for delivery, not just planning.
- Construction and Operations Leader – You bring experience across both build and ongoing facilities management
- Strong Communicator - You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Systems-Oriented Thinker – You bring order to complexity through process, cadence, and clear ownership.
- Calm Under Pressure – You operate effectively in fast-moving, high-expectation environments.
- Discreet and Professional – You handle sensitive projects with sound judgment and professionalism.
