The Vancouver Infant Development Program (IDP) is looking to hire a Pediatric Physiotherapist to work alongside the Infant Development Consultant to provide assessment and recommendations relating to a child’s motor development. The majority of PT appointments (visits) take place on site at the IDP office in a room specifically designated for the PT sessions with toys and materials appropriate for the motor assessment of young children. Visits will occasionally take place in a family’s home or community location, depending on the need.
An Infant Development Consultant attends the PT visit with the family and provides a written summary, including physiotherapy recommendations that is co-signed by the IDP Consultant and Physiotherapist. Since 1952, Developmental Disabilities Association has been helping thousands of people in BC with developmental disabilities reach their full potential through support and advocacy.
