With a refreshed brand and a continued commitment to excellence, our work is grounded in discretion, care, and the understanding that behind every hire is a human story.
The People You’d Join
Our client is a well-established Canadian organization with a unionized workforce across several sites. Their payroll team is small and close-knit, and they are in the middle of moving to ADP, so this is a chance to be part of a project that will shape how payroll runs for years to come.

- Enter new hires, terminations, rate changes, deductions and ROEs
- Reconcile payroll filings, including benefits, WCB and source deductions
- Support payroll journal entries and month-end and year-end reporting
- Help with benefits enrolments, changes and terminations
- Support the ADP implementation, including data checks, testing and fixing issues as they come up
- Write procedures and training materials, and help train staff on the new system
- Back up the payroll team and answer employee payroll questions
The Human We’re Looking For - 3–4+ years of Canadian payroll experience
- PCP designation (required)
- Experience with union payroll and collective agreements
- Exposure to a payroll system implementation, ideally ADP
- Strong Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable with confidential information and calm when deadlines stack up
Where and How You’d Work
Hybrid, based in Burnaby, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office. There may be some extra hours during the busier stages of the project.
The Full Picture on Pay - Salary of $70,000 – $78,000 for the 13-month contract
