Role and Facility Information
The Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) Hospitalist Group is welcoming expressions of interest from Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians interested in joining our established and collegial team in New Westminster, BC.
Our group brings together physicians from both specialties who are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred inpatient care in a dynamic tertiary-care environment. We welcome physicians interested in both flexible locum opportunities and permanent positions, with the potential for locum-to-permanent arrangements.

Qualifications
1-Full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC).
2-Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or Internal Medicine (FRCPC or ABIM), or equivalent qualifications accepted by CPSBC.
3-Current CMPA coverage.
4-Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
5-Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Previous hospitalist experience is an asset but not essential. Physicians trained in Canada and internationally are encouraged to apply. US-trained Internal Medicine physicians with ABIM certification who meet CPSBC full licensure requirements are welcome.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centred inpatient care in a tertiary-care hospital environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues and, where interested, contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, mentorship, leadership, or academic activities.
Requirements
Applicants must hold full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or Internal Medicine (FRCPC or ABIM), or equivalent qualifications accepted by CPSBC, and current CMPA coverage. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively are required; prior hospitalist experience is an asset but not essential.
