Jewish Seniors Alliance of British Columbia (JSABC) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors across British Columbia. Founded in 2003, JSA supports older adults through peer-based programs that reduce isolation, promote mental well-being, and foster meaningful social connections.
Through its core pillars - Community Support Services, advocacy, outreach, and education - JSA provides free one-to-one peer support, volunteer training, and community programs that empower seniors to remain engaged, independent, and connected. The organization also champions seniors’ rights and works collaboratively with partners to advance policies that promote dignity, inclusion, and healthy aging.
Grounded in the principle of “seniors helping seniors,” JSA is committed to building a more inclusive and supportive community for all older adults, regardless of background.
